How to Block a Contact on Whatsapp

Are you facing issues with someone on Whatsapp and wish to cease receiving their messages? Here's a streamlined, step-by-step guide for blocking a contact on the popular instant messaging app.

Steps to Block a User on Whatsapp:

1. Go to Chats: Simply tap "Chat" in the upper left corner of your screen.
   
2. Tap the Contacts Icon, located at the bottom right of the screen.
3. Find the Contact. Scroll through your contacts to locate the individual you intend to block.
   
4. Access the Menu. On the contact's profile, click the three-dot icon in the upper right corner.
   
5. Select 'More': If "Block" isn't immediately visible, tap "More" for additional options.
   
6. Choose 'Block', and then confirm your decision by selecting "OK" or "Block".
   
7. By following these steps, the person in question will be blocked on Whatsapp, meaning they can no longer message or call you through the app. While their name will remain in your contacts, it will be marked as blocked.

   Note: If you prefer to completely remove the blocked contact's name, delete their number from your phone's contact list and refresh your Whatsapp contacts. This action will entirely erase them from the app.
